An Investigation of the Quality of Grammar Instruction: Case of Education Informatics Network

چکیده

Teaching grammar topics is a difficult and complex process. This process needs to be structured with functional activities that are appropriate for the objectives of instruction, it face-to-face or distance education. study aims investigate evaluate quality instruction in Turkish lessons on Education Informatics Network (EBA) used by Ministry National as education tool. For this purpose, data research were obtained through investigation 29 at elementary school level (5th-8th grades) between dates 23.03.2020 19.06.2020 during which formal was three-month hiatus. In designating these lessons, criterion sampling technique all included investigated taking criterion. The case one qualitative designs. after analyzed content analysis method. research, category determined “Grammar Teaching” while sub-categories coded “The State Using Sense Induction Methods Grammar Teaching”, “Structure Examples Used Supporting Activities Comprehension Expression Skills”. It found induction intuition methods have vital place teaching seldom used. On top this, revealed taught way far from text-based not associated receptive productive skills.
